Nigerian street hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, has accused social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, aka Very Dark Man, of squandering the N180 million he claimed hackers stole from the account of his NGO.

Recall that Very Dark Man, in a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday, said that he was distraught after a hacker gained access to his NGO’s account and diverted N180 million.

He explained that in order to prevent more vulnerabilities, the NGO’s app had been temporarily taken down for maintenance, and one of the suspects had been arrested by law enforcement agents.

However, in a dynamic twist of events, Portable shared a post on his official X handle (formerly Twitter) where he voiced out his position on the matter, calling VDM a thief for making such a claim and also challenging him to a matchup to prove his innocence.

Portable wrote thus on his X page; “If you don’t return the stolen NGO money, don’t step foot in Lagos or Abuja. We’ll fight you. A thief is a thief, and a friend of a thief is also a thief. Rich men contributed about ₦180 million for orphans, and you spent it!”

The musician who noted that he has never received N100m donation also accused Very Dark Man of claiming to fight for Nigerians but in actual fact is fighting for his own personal gain.

“You say you’re fighting for Nigerians, but it’s for your personal gain. I’ve never received ₦100 million, yet I still distribute rice, noodles, and fix roads and streetlights in my area. But you spent the NGO money in clubs. Bad person!” Portable said.
