This comes a day after Cubana Chief Priest took it upon himself to secure the immediate release of Speed Darlington, who landed himself in trouble after he insinuated in a post on social media that Burna Boy’s closeness to Puffy Daddy influenced his Grammy Award win in 2021.
Recall that Speed Darlington has been in police detention for close to two months following his arrest by men of the Imo State Police Command in Owerri in November 2025 upon his arrival from the United States.
Speed Darlington who was reportedly arrested by the police for jumping bail in a case that involved Burna Boy has been in detention despite a court injunction authorising the police to release him on bail unconditionally.
