Portable says his estranged ex-girlfriend Queen Dami is the reason he has not won a Grammy
Nigerian street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has told those who care to listen that his estranged ex-girlfriend Queen Dami (the wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo) is the reason he has not won a Grammy Award.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner, who made the disclosure in a chat with media personality Daddy Freeze, also disclosed that Queen Dami is the reason he is recently going through numerous difficulties.
He claimed that because of his circumstances, he had to make sacrifices and pray to Ifa for guidance on how to handle the challenges, which have been holding him back.

Portable claimed that after praying for the removal of any obstacles preventing him from moving forward—whether they be from other people or things—Queen Dami abruptly left him, and he felt relieved.
He said, “I gave food to Aje, and I prayed to Ifa, and I was told to say that anything blocking my way, whether it’s a woman or man that I accommodated, that is not letting me progress, let them depart from me, so that they don’t remove my battery.
‘‘Can’t you see that girl has run away? She has gone with her problems. She’s one of the reasons I have not won a Grammy Award. Assuming she wasn’t in my life, I would have won a Grammy.”
