Nigerian street hop artiste Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has weighed in on the social media spat between his senior colleagues Wizkid and Davido.

The war of words between the pair has forced Nigerians to react to the ongoing feud between the two musicians who have both had a tumultuous relationship dating back to 2014.

Trouble started on October 1, 2024, when Wizkid posted a subliminal message on the microblogging app X that saying, “Beg me! Just like…’’ However, It didn’t take long for his followers and other X users to figure out that the message was a hint at a Davido viral video.

His initial post caused a stir in the comments section, provoking a range of responses from both his and Davido’s followers who chastised Wizkid for using vile words against his colleague.

Portable has now reacted to the faceoff between Wizkid and Davido in a post shared on his official Instagram page.

The ‘Zazu’ crooner accused Wizkid of using Davido to gain the spotlight at this point in time instead on concentrating on promoting his music.

He also summed up that Wizkid and Davido are both reveling in the social media spat which is trending on social media to keep themselves relevant since they don’t have any songs to promote.

He wrote; “Don’t use your brother to shine, shine yourself. Una songs no dey market again, na fight una dey use do promotion.”

Portable also used the medium to tell those who cared to listen that he is neither on Wizkid or Davido’s side while distancing himself from the feud.

“Me, I no dey for Davido. Me, I no dey for Wizkid. I dey for myself. That’s why I dey for those who dey for me,” he added.
