Remi Tinubu visits Babangida, Abdulsalami in Minna

The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday paid courtesy visits to former Heads of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida and Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar at their residences in Minna, Niger State.

The First Lady’s Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, disclosed this in a statement on X (formerly Twitter).

She said Mrs. Tinubu was accompanied on the visits to check the former leaders’ welfare by wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima.

“First Lady Oluremi Tinubu was at the Minna residence of the Former Head of State Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar on a visit,” Kukoyi wrote.

“The former head of state while receiving the First Lady expressed appreciation for the visit noting that it is heart warming to have the First Lady check up on his welfare.

“Also the wife of the former Head of State was also there to welcome Senator Oluremi Tinubu.”

In another post, Kukoyi added.

“The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu has paid a visit to Former Military President General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida at his Minna residence. They then went into a closed door meeting.

“The former head of state, while receiving the First Lady, expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that it is heart warming to have the First Lady check up on his welfare.
