Reps directs NCC to block all p0rnographic websites in Nigeria
The House of Representatives has issued a directive to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), demanding the immediate and complete shutdown of all pornographic websites across the nation.
During a plenary session on Tuesday, the House mandated the NCC to enforce this directive, further suggesting that internet service providers must block access to these sites.
The motion was sponsored by Dalhatu Tafoki, a Representative from Katsina, who framed the measure as a critical step to “protect societal values.”
