Ronaldo scores 133rd Portugal goal in Poland win

Cristiano Ronaldo was on target for Portugal in their 3-1 victory over Poland in the UEFA Nations League.

The game played at Stadion Narodowy on Saturday night saw the Al-Nassr forward score his 133rd international goal.

Portugal took the lead through Bernardo Silva in the 26th minute before Ronaldo doubled their lead in the 37th when he slotted in a rebound after Rafael Leao hit the post.

It was Ronaldo’s third Nations League goal in three games. He was replaced by Diogo Jota in the 63rd minute.

Portugal were looking comfortable in Warsaw until Piotr Zielinski smashed in a shot to give Poland hope in the 78th minute.

Buy Jan Bednarek scored a late own goal to make Portugal’s win safe. Portugal now have three wins from three games and will face Scotland next Tuesday.
