Ruggedman slams those criticising Davido for his remarks about the Nigerian economy
Veteran rapper Michael Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman, has taken a swipe at those criticising singer Davido over his remarks about the Nigerian economy.
Recall that the ‘Skelewu’ crooner has been hit hard by critics after he expressed his worries about the increasing interest of African Americans moving to Africa.
In an interview with the Big Homies House podcast, Davido warned that, while Africa is enticing, the current economic condition makes it difficult for those considering a move.

The multiple award-winning artiste specifically mentioned Nigeria’s economic woes. “Back home, things aren’t going well. He remarked, “The economy is really struggling.”
In a post that was published on his X page, Ruggedman defended Davido, stating that the singer’s remarks were true and also used the medium to urge the government to fix the economic problems so that such statements would not be required.
The rapper wrote thus on his X page: “Ok, Davido has said what he said; moving forward, the government should fix Nigeria so nobody will say such again. All this barking all over the place is not fixing the nation”.
