Russia, Cuba listed as Trump mulls travel ban for 43 nations
The United States President, Donald Trump, has concluded plans to impose a travel ban on 43 countries.
In an internal memo seen by the media on Saturday, the countries divided were divided into three groups – red, orange, and yellow.
However, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and other major economic powers in Africa were excluded in the list that included many countries from the continent.
If the list is approved by the Trump administration, citizens of the affected countries would be barred from entering the U.S.
The proposal is part of measures launched by Trump to check influx of people to the U.S. shortly after he assumed office in January.

There are 11 countries in the red group – Afghanistan, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Cuba, Bhutan, Venezuela, North Korea, Yemen, and Somalia.
At least 10 countries are listed in the orange group.
These are – Russia, Belarus, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Pakistan, Laos, Turkmenistan, Haiti, and Eritrea.
22 countries were listed in the yellow group.
These are – Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Dominica.
The rest are – Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Vanuatu and Zimbabwe.
