Nigerian singer-songwriter Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe popularly known in music circles as Ayra Starr has revealed her secret desire to be an internet troll.

The ‘Sability’ crooner, who made the disclosure during an interview on the latest episode of the ‘I Said What I Said’ podcast, said that sometimes she wants to be a troll on the internet.

She said that she usually trolls people with a fake page, so when people insult her on the internet, she won’t feel bad because she does the same to others.

The hosts of the podcast started laughing when she stated, “There are times when I want to be a troll on the internet, probably with a fake page, so that when people insult me I won’t feel bad because I do the same.”

The singer, however, made it clear that she took the issue seriously and gave Rihanna as an example of a famous person who plays a vicious game of clapbacks.

She claimed that “Rihanna that year, she used to clap back at people back to back,” and the hosts of the show concurred.

Ayra went on to admit that she had previously made a fan page to support Nicki Minaj, whom she greatly admires, in addition to having a page for trolling people.

‘‘I did have a troll page before I became Ayra Starr. I had a Nicki Minaj fan page too, I used to be a troll so I feel like I’ve been there done that but I feel like it’d fit me small. I respect it so much, I think it I could use my own Ayra Starr page. Trolling would be so fun.’’ She stated.
