Singer Portable explains why he slapped Pastor who came to his bar to preach
Nigerian street hop singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known in music circles as Portable has explained why he slapped a Pastor who came to his bar to preach.
Recall that the controversial musician was seen slapping a supposed preacher who had come to his bar to preach in video footage that is still making the rounds on the internet.
In the incident which has generated a lot of social media commentary, Portable aggressively confronted the pastor and accused him of driving away customers at his bar.

In the now-viral video, the musician addressed the pastor using foul language, which included the F-word. Portable looked angry, claiming that the pastor’s presence was detrimental to business.
But, in a follow-up post explaining his actions toward the clergyman, Portable referred to the Pastor as “419”—a phrase frequently used in Nigeria to denote dishonesty or fraud.
“Na 419 na so them dey do,” Portable wrote in response to the criticisms.
