Singer Timaya opens up reasons for not getting married  

Nigerian dancehall singer Enetimi Odon, popularly known as Timaya, has opened up about his reasons for not getting married despite being a hot cake as a bachelor.

The ‘Sweet Us’ crooner, who shared his reason during an interview with NAIJA FM, said that he has never been a guy who thinks about or dwells on marriage, but his perception may soon change.

He noted that marriage is a crazy transaction, and he always thinks he may not be able to get out of it when he gets hooked because in all his relationships he’s the one who gets out due to stress.

“I’ve never been a marriage guy right from time but it can change, because marriage dey crase? I just look at it like if I marry today, would I be able to get out? In all my previous relationships, I was the one who got out because I don’t like stress.” Timaya said when asked about marriage.

According to Timaya, who is well-known for fusing Afro-Caribbean/Dancehall music with Nigerian pop and parts of hip-hop, dancehall, and soca, free communication is essential in partnerships since he dislikes holding things close to the chest.

He said; “If you have a problem with me , let’s talk about it because I don’t like going to bed thinking about things , I go die o. I don’t like anything to bother me at all.”
