Speed Darlington claims he survived gunshot attack in Lagos

Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington claimed on Monday he survived a gunshot attack in Lagos.

The controversial singer in a post shared on his Instagram page said the incident happened early on Monday after he left an undisclosed nightclub on Victoria Island.

Speed Darlington, who had a faceoff with Grammy Award-winning musician Burna Boy, said people are trying to take his life despite maintaining a silence on recent issues.

He wrote: ‘’There must be truth in what I am saying. Bro, is this necessary? You try to take my life… really? “
