Deji Adeyanju, the lawyer representing Darlington Okoye aka Speed Darlington or “AKP said on Monday the Imo State Police Command has refused to release his client or arraign him in court.

The counsel, who disclosed this in a post shared on his X page, said his client is still being held on the ground that the last time they released him, he traveled to the United States.

‘He wrote: ‘The @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU have refused to release Speed Darlington or to take him before a judge to face trial on the childish excuse that the last time they released him to me, he traveled to the US. This narrative is false because we told them he was going to the US to return.
