Actress Ibinabo Fiberesima slams MTN for poor network

Sultry Nollywood actress Ibinabo Fiberesima has decried the deployment of military personnel in Rivers State following the state of emergency order by President Bola Tinubu.

The former President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, who was seen in a video captured by News Central, said that Rivers State was at peace until the deployment of the military men.

“We were at peace. Let people go to work at peace. All these army people driving about: this is not right,” the talented, fair-skinned actress said in tears.

She said that the action taken by President Tinubu ‘is not right’ because people of Rivers State had found peace only for the declaration of emergency to destroy everything.

“We’d found peace finally, and then today you come out to see Army people around, like there is something going on that is wrong. This is not right.”

“This is not right. Let our children and our families be at peace,” Ibinabo said.

She went on to say that the state’s citizens adore the suspended governor, Siminalayi Fubara, saying, “Our governor is peaceful; we love him.”

“Leave us in peace. Is it too much to ask? We want peace,” she said as other women organising a peaceful demonstration behind her chanted along.
