Tesla recalls 700,000 cybertrucks over issue with tire pressure warning light
American multinational automotive and clean energy company Tesla has recalled no fewer than 700,000 Cybertrucks due to an issue with the tire pressure warning light.
There is a greater chance that drivers won’t be aware of under-inflated tires if the warning light doesn’t remain on in between drives, which could lead to collisions.
The company owned by billionaire businessman Elon Musk disclosed on Tuesday that the issue could cause users to unknowingly drive on low-pressure tires.

“The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light may not remain illuminated between drive cycles, failing to warn the driver of low tire pressure,” wrote the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in a statement.
The notification warns that drivers may use the vehicle with inadequately inflated tires, increasing the danger of a collision.
The issue, which affects certain Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck cars, will be fixed with an over-the-air software update, according to Tesla.
