Tinubu appoints Abiola’s son as SSA on linguistics and foreign matters

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Jami’u Abiola as his Senior Special Assistant on Linguistics and Foreign Matters.

The Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.

He said the appointment is in line with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc) Act 2008, as amended.

The appointment, according to him, took effect on November 14.

Jami’u, who is one of the sons of the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, previously served as the Special Assistant on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.
