Tinubu appoints Jega as presidential adviser on livestock reforms
President Bola Tinubu has appointed a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega. as adviser and coordinator of the presidential livestock reforms initiative.
The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Friday evening in Abuja.

President Tinubu in July 2024 created the Ministry of Livestock Development to address the frequent herdsmen-farmer conflicts in the country.
He had earlier established a presidential committee on livestock reforms with Jega as the chairman.
