Tinubu formally receives Anyim into APC
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday formally received the former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim to the All Progressives Congress ( APC).
Anyim, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC alongside the party’s governorship candidate in Ebonyi State, Obinna Ogba, on July 13.
The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma and his Ebonyi State counterpart, Francis Nwifiru, presented the former PDP chieftain to President Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.

In a chat with State House correspondents at the end of the meeting, Anyim promised to support the government in its efforts to take the country out of the wood.
He also pledged to contribute his quota to the growth and success of the party in future elections.
