Tinubu meets Obasa, Meranda other Lagos lawmakers in Aso Rock
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday met with Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudasiru Obasa, and other lawmakers at the State House, Abuja.
Obasa arrived at the State House with Mojisola Meranda, who was elected the speaker shortly after the former was impeached by members of the House on January 13.
Other lawmakers arrived at the seat of power in a Coaster bus at 2:30 p.m.

Issues discussed at the meeting have not been made public, but they may not be unconnected with the crisis that trailed Obasa’s impeachment for alleged gross misconduct by his colleagues.
The 50-year-old was reinstated as speaker on March 4.
