Tinubu reconstitutes management of 12 River Basin Authorities (SEE LIST)
President Bola Tinubu has reconstituted the Executive Management of 12 River Basin Development Authorities in the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.
The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
Mr. Odebunmi Olusegun was appointed the chairman of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority based in Abeokuta with Dr. Adedeji Ashiru as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors are – Mr. Ayo Oyalowo, Finance; Dokunmu Oyekunle, Planning and Design; Suleiman Oris, Agricultural Services and Mr. Julius Oloro, Engineering.
The Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority has Alhaji Sanusi Babantanko (Bauchi) as Chairman and Samuel Mohammed (Taraba) as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors are – Mr. Usman Bakare, Engineering; Ibrahim Jalo, Finance; Mr. Isa Matori, Planning and Design and Hamman Dikko, Agricultural Services.
The Chad Basin Development Authority has Prof. Abdu Dauda (Borno) as Chairman and Tijjani Tumsa (Yobe) as Managing Director.

The Executive Directors are – Mr. Bashir Baale, Finance; Iliyasu Muazu, Agricultural Services; Mr. Mohammed Shetima, Engineering; and Vrati Nzonzo, Planning and Design.
Mr. Mike Ezomo has been appointed Chairman of the Benin-Owena Development Authority, with Femi Adekanbi as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors – Dr. Austin Izagbo, Planning and Design; Mr. Johnson Oghuma, Agricultural Services; Adegboyega Bamisile, Finance; and Bayode Akinduro, Engineering.
Chief Ebikemi Bosin has been appointed Chairman of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority, with Amgbare Ebitimi as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors – Mrs. Mary Alagoa, Finance; Mr. Felix Kurogha, Agricultural Services; and Dr Nnamdi Akani, Planning and Design.
For the Upper Niger River Basin Development Authority, Haruna Usman is appointed Chairman, and Dangajere Shuaibu Jaja is appointed Managing Director.
The Executive Directors are – Mohammed Usman, Finance; Dr. Abdullahi Kutso, Planning and Design; Ayuba Tedde, Agricultural Services; and John Hassan, Engineering.
Tinubu has also appointed Alhaji Abdullateef Alakawa as Chairman and Mr. George Olumoroti as Managing Director of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority.
The Executive Directors are – Babajamu Adeniran, Engineering; Abdullahi Sadiq, Agricultural Services; Alanamu Abolere Planning and Design; and Abidemi Adeyemi, Finance.
The Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority now has Dr. Amos Yadukso as Chairman and Ninga Terese as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors are – Chief Chris Takar, Engineering; Yusuf Omaaki, Finance; Mr. Hassan Omale, Agricultural Services; and Okibe Ogomola, Planning and Design.
The Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority now has Sen. Emmanuel Anosike as Chairman and Mr. Emeka Nduka as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors are – Nwebonyi Priscilla Nkechi, Finance; Mr. Evaristus Asadu, Engineering; Onukwubiri Ojigwe, Agricultural Services; and Abigail Igwe, Planning and Design.
Mamman Aliyu and Rabiu Bichi have been appointed Chairman and Managing Director, respectively, of the Hadejia Jamaere River Basin Development Authority.
The Executive Directors are – Tijjani Isa, Planning and Design; Hajiya Zainab Gamawa, Agricultural Services; Baffa Abdulkadir, Engineering; and Musa Kwankwaso, Finance.
The President also appointed Mr. Wabilly Nyiam and Mrs. Glory Oho as Chairman and Managing Director of the Cross River Basin Development Authority.
The Executive Directors are – Effiwat Akwat Eyo, Finance; Ms. Ebiere Udoh, Agricultural Services; Charles Akpan, Engineering; and Dr. Ndom Abia, Planning and Design.
For the Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority, Mr. Bello Wurno has been appointed Chairman and Abubakar Mallam as Managing Director.
The Executive Directors are – Kabiru Maigoro, Planning and Design; Abubakar Ibrahim, Finance; Muttaka Jikamshi, Agricultural Services; and Mansur Aminu, Engineering.
