Tinubu reduces ministers’ official vehicles to three
President Bola Tinubu has reduced the number of vehicles in the convoys of ministers, and heads of the Federal Government’s agencies to three.
The president also cut down the number of security personnel attached to the government officials to five.

The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, who disclosed these in a statement on Thursday in Abuja, said his principal directed the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to engage with the military, paramilitary, and security agencies to determine a suitable reduction in their vehicle and personnel deployment.
He added that the move was part of the cost-cutting measure initiated by the president.
“No additional vehicles will be assigned to them for movement.
“The security team will comprise four police officers and one Department of State Services (DSS) officer.
“No additional security personnel will be assigned,” the statement read.
