Tinubu’s minister says Nigerian govt committed to food security

The Federal Government has rolled out several programmes to ensure food security in the country.

The Minister of State for Agriculture, Aliyu Abdullahi, stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Monday.

According to Abdullahi, food security is a top priority for President BolaTinubu administration.

He stressed that the government is working tirelessly to achieve its vision of a Nigeria where no one goes to bed hungry.

The minister said:

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is seriously concerned about our food security situation. Let me add that many times he would say to us his vision is for us to take Nigeria to a position where no man goes to bed hungry.

“We have realised that and are working very hard to make sure we achieve that.”
