Manchester City got back to winning ways in the UEFA Champions League as they secured a 4-0 win over Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday night.

The Pep Guardiola side had started their continental campaign with a goalless draw against Inter Milan a fortnight ago.

Ilkay Gundogan opened scoring as he netted his first goal on his return to City with a deflected strike in the eighth minute.

Phil Foden doubled their lead in the 15th minute, Erling Haaland made it three just before the hour time, and substitute James McAtee completed the rout late on.

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal put up a fine performance as they outplayed Paris St-Germain, sealing a 2-0 victory over the French giants.

The Gunners sealed the win in the first half as their dominance resulted to goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka, and they led at halftime.

In Spain, Barcelona secured a big win over Young Boys, with Robert Lewandowski bagged a brace to help them win 5-0.

Raphinha and Iñigo Martínez were also on target for the home side, plus a late own goal by Mady Camara.

In the other Champions League ties on Tuesday, RB Salzburg got thrashed 4-0 by Brest; Stuttgart and Sparta Prague played a 1-1 draw; and Bayer Leverkusen pipped AC Milan 1-0.

Dortmund sealed a 7-1 victory over Celtic; Inter Milan thrashed Red Star 4-0; while PSV were held to a 1-1 draw by Sporting Lisbon.
