Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known in social circles as Very Dark Man, has finally admitted that the missing N180 million allegedly stolen by hackers was a prank.

He made the admission in a video posted on his official Instagram page, saying he pulled off the stunt just to show that 80% of people on social media are dumb.

VDM stated that no money is missing as the cash is secured in his account, but he deliberately raised the false alarm to show that people on social media are stupid.

According to him, when he raised the false alarm, some people were so happy about his supposed predicament, and nobody even asked for evidence to back up his spurious claim.

‘’80% of the people that use social media are dumb, and the whole thing that happened with the N180 million is a clear opportunity to show you. I deliberately did it to just show you people that you are stupid. No money is missing; my money is secured.

”The way people are so excited about bad is really sad. I told my website guy, shut the website, let us use these people catch cruise. Nobody bothered to ask for evidence. They just went with what is being said. I am so happy I did this,” he said.
