VeryDarkMan drops another recording, insists Bobrisky was never in jail
Controversial social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, has dropped another audio recording where he insisted that the controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju aka Bobrisky, did not spend time in jail.
In the voice recording he released on Monday, VDM also insisted that Bobrisky paid officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charges against him.
In the voice note VDM claimed was recorded on May 16 Bobrisky was heard giving details of his encounter with the EFCC and subsequent detention.
He shed light on the corruption allegations and offered an insight into how Bobrisky reportedly managed to avoid money laundering charges.
In the recording, Bobrisky was heard saying that during the EFCC’s investigation, his bank accounts were frozen due to suspicious financial activities.
The cross-dressed however revealed that he negotiated with the anti-graft agency’s officials to drop the charges.
Ripples Nigeria had earlier reported the genesis of the controversy between the two social media influencers.
VDM was the first to throw the gauntlet when he called out Bobrisky over an unpaid debt he owed an unnamed creditor.
In a trending video he posted across different social media platforms, VDM explained how the individual approached him and begged him to compel Bobrisky to pay back the N4 million debt.
The matter took a different twist when he accused officials of the EFCC and the Nigeria Correctional Services (NCoS) of taking bribes from Bobrisky.
VDM also alleged that human rights lawyer, Femi Falana and his musician son, Falz, had tried to get a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for N10 million.
The various allegations led the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions to invite VDM and Bobrisky to a hearing.
